A certain group of my synth recordings from 1981 through 1983 were mixed to cassettes and collected in a white box. Three C-60's and five C-90's. Works left mostly without names and without a final presentation. In the early 90's, 5 tracks were selected and edited with a computer controlled tape editing system. These were barely released as "the white box edits". Now most of these works have a way to be published and understood. "The White Box" is a six-volume set with most of the works from those tapes, divided into categories based on similarity.
